Job summary

Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Medical/Telemetry 5 South unit. You will assess patients, implement care plans, administer medications, and maintain medical records in a fast-paced telemetry setting.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the Interstate Licensure Compact.
• AHA BLS certification prior to end of orientation period.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs; develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Administer nursing care and medications; monitor for reactions and side effects.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and health documentation.
• Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention; monitor changes in patient conditions.
