Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Medical‑Surgical care. This full‑time Night shift, in‑person position is based in Beckley, WV, with a 6:1 patient ratio on the 4N unit and access to infusion and dialysis services.

You will perform accurate assessments, implement care plans, document thoroughly, and provide age‑appropriate nursing care. Requirements include an active RN license, BSN, BLS; ACLS/PALS within six months of hire; one year of

Qualifications

• Current state RN license required
• BSN preferred
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans

Skills

RN license

BSN preferred

BLS within 30 days

ACLS within 6 months

PALS within 6 months

1 year experience preferred
