Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical-Surgical unit (4N). This full-time night shift requires a current RN license, a BSN, and BLS with ACLS/PALS within six months.

You’ll care for a mix of surgical and medical patients in a 44-bed unit with a 6:1 ratio. Join a collaborative team that emphasizes patient-centered care, ongoing learning, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Bachelor's degree from accredited nursing school
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; ACLS and PALS within six months of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient
