Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to complete required hospital orientation and competency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to medical/surgical patients.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in condition.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately as ordered.
• Monitor patient responses and communicate changes promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge needs.
• Participate in admission, transfer, discharge, and transition-of-care processes.
• Support quality and safety initiatives and document accurately.
