Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Services Registered Nurse for night shifts in Granite City, IL. You will assess, triage, and treat patients with acute illness or trauma, collaborating with physicians to stabilize patients quickly in a fast-paced ER.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross).
• Willingness to complete CPI training within 1 month of hire.
• TNCC or ITLS certification preferred.
• ECRN certification preferred.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills, physical stamina, and emotional resilience.

Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and treat patients with acute illnesses or injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to stabilize patients quickly.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor vital signs.
• Educate patients and families throughout treatment.
• Prioritize effectively and think on your feet in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
