Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 9E Medical-Surgical unit in Springfield, MO. This night shift role (7p-7a) on a 36-hour week focuses on GI and GU post-surgical care with modern nursing support systems.

Qualifications include MO RN license, graduation from an accredited program, and BLS within 90 days. Prior nursing experience is preferred; ongoing education and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license active in Missouri.
• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Previous nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of patients with medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Assess condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vitals.
• Maintain records and provide education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care.
