CoxHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for Surgical 900 W South in Springfield, MO. The role focuses on GI and GU post-surgical patients on a 24-hour weekly schedule, with opportunity for advancement and ongoing education.

You will assess patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, document care, and educate families. A Missouri RN license and BLS within 90 days are required; GI/GU post-surgical training is provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Missouri RN licensure required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and respond to changes in health status.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Perform standard nursing procedures and change dressings.
• Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge needs.
