Job summary

Southeast Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Medical/Surgical Services. The RN will apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and geriatric patients in the Medical/Surgical Unit, adhering to hospital policies and unit standards while supporting the mission, vision and values of the hospital and department.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, English proficiency, BCLS certification, and familiarity with Windows-based systems.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in the state.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
• Completion of institutional Intermediate EKG course.
• ACLS course completed is preferred.
• Experience with Windows computer systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Care for adult and geriatric Medical/Surgical patients.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures and support unit mission and values.
