Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current State of Texas license or compact license to practice professional nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate nursing care to patients per nursing skills inventory and patient needs.
• Coordinates nursing care with interdisciplinary team and administers clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data and standards of care.
• Coordinates treatment plans; develops discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in evaluation of programs and process improvement to improve client-centered outcomes.
• Ensures care adheres to Memorial Hermann policies and quality standards.
