Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama is seeking an RN for Medical/Surgical Services on the night shift (7:00 pm – 7:00 am). The role covers adult and geriatric patients across multiple Medical/Surgical units in alignment with hospital policies.

Qualified applicants have an active RN license in the state, English proficiency, and current competency coursework. ACLS is preferred, with some required for Special Procedures; Windows-based software experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Annual completion of competency requirements.
• ACLS preferred; required for Special Procedures.
• Experience using Windows-based software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for adults and geriatrics in the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Provide care in units such as 2 East, 3 East, 4 East, 5 East, 6 East, 7 East.
• Support the hospital mission, vision and values while following policies.
