Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital (Advocate Health) is seeking a part-time RN for the Med Surg/Telemetry 12C unit. This PRN night shift (1900-0700) requires 5 shifts in a 6-week schedule, with at least one weekend shift and one winter and one summer holiday.

The unit cares for adults with pneumonia, COPD, CHF, and related conditions. Eligible candidates must complete an accredited nursing program, hold a state RN license, have a minimum of 1 year med/surg experience, and possess BLS

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum med/surg nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Use evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure patient safety and a positive patient experience.
