Job summary

WellSpan Waynesboro Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for Medical-Surgical care of adults in a busy 24-hour unit. This 13-week contract covers 3x12 night shifts with weekends/holidays as needed and may include floating to other units.

Requirements include a minimum of 2 years’ RN experience in Medical-Surgical, current RN license, BLS and ACLS, NIHSS, and EPIC experience. Work in a tobacco- and fragrance-free facility, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and committing to ongoing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in Medical-Surgical or related setting.
• Current RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIHSS certification.
• EPIC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care to adults in a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Monitor telemetry patients and manage various medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol.
• Document care and maintain accurate records using EPIC.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing education to maintain licensure.
