West Allis Medical Center, part of Advocate Aurora Health, is hiring RNs for the 5 South Stroke/ACE Med/Surg unit in West Allis, WI. You will rotate through self-scheduled 12-hour shifts, provide patient-centered care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage diverse med/surg cases.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• New RN's and Experienced RN's WELCOME!

Responsibilities

• Build foundational skills and knowledge through Nurse Residency and Preceptor directed orientation.
• Build skills in time management, triaging accountabilities, communication skills, pharmacology, lab interpretation, pathophysiology of disease process through a variety of med/surg patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Develop collaborative relationships with a resourceful multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide continuity of patient care through 12-hour shifts, patient centered care and team minded support.
• Be a valued member of a highly skilled, resilient, and versatile nursing team committed to ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate healthcare to diverse patient populations.
