Job summary

Corewell Health’s Gerber Hospital in Fremont is seeking a part-time Night Shift nurse for the Gerber Med Surg unit (3E). The 13-bed unit handles observation and inpatient care and is undergoing updates, with on-site MRI/CT and telemedicine support to improve patient outcomes.

You will deliver nursing care per ANA standards, completing the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate care for diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care per ANA standards.
• Use the nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Uphold ethical, culturally congruent practice and collaboration.
