Gerber Med Surg, part of Corewell Health, is a 13-bed unit undergoing a full refresh in Fremont, MI. The RN will provide compassionate nursing care, follow the ANA nursing process, and uphold professional standards to deliver quality patient outcomes.

The position is part-time, night shift, 24 hours weekly, with a 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. schedule and every-other-weekend rotation. Michigan RN license, BLS within 90 days, ACLS within six months are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required within five years of graduation.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per ANA standards.
• Perform nursing process: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Collaborate with care team and uphold professional practice.
