Job summary

Saint Francis Health System seeks a Registered Nurse I for the Nursing Services Float Pool at the Muskogee Campus. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care across Med/Surg units, using the nursing process and following hospital standards.

Requires 1 year Med/Surg experience; 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts, with weekends and holidays per department policy. The role emphasizes patient care, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration to meet unit goals

Qualifications

• Completed basic nursing program approved by a state board.
• Valid RN license (multi-state or Oklahoma).
• 0–6 months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses, organizes, and completes patient care with consideration for age, culture and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process.
• Addresses problems and progress toward goals; facilitates discharge with referrals and education.
• Collaborates with other disciplines and supports unit/hospital goals.
