Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Registered Nurse I for the Days Med Surg Float Pool. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process across age groups, with a focus on safe, evidence-based practice and patient education.

The role requires completion of basic nursing education, eligibility for licensure, and 0–6 months of related experience. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support discharge planning and unit goals.

Qualifications

• Must have completed basic nursing curricula and be licensed or eligible for licensure.
• Valid RN license (multi-state or Oklahoma).
• 0–6 months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assesses, organizes, and completes patient care considering age, culture, and psychosocial factors.
• Documents steps of the nursing process.
• Utilizes proper medical terminology.
• Addresses problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitates patient discharge through referrals and patient education resources.
• Collaborates with other disciplines.
• Supports unit/hospital goals through PI and education activities.
