Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital Muskogee, Inc. seeks a Full Time Nights Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Float Pool in Muskogee, Oklahoma. The role requires 6-12 months of experience, preferably in ER/ICU, and 3 x 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week.

Weekend and holiday coverage is required per department process. The position includes differential for Float Pool, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance, with opportunities to float to other units as needed and contribute to patient care

Qualifications

• Has completed basic professional curricula of nursing and holds or is entitled to hold a diploma or degree.
• Valid RN license (state of Oklahoma or multi-state).
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work with attention to detail.
• Experience in ER/ICU preferred or 0–6 months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to care for patients.
• Assess, organize, and complete patient care with consideration for age, culture and psychosocial factors.
• Document steps of the nursing process with accurate medical terminology.
• Address problems and progress toward goals.
• Facilitate patient discharge with timely referrals and education resources.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and participate in department education and quality initiatives.
