Job summary
Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg unit in Bridgton, Maine. This 12-week assignment offers nights and a weekly pay schedule with flexible opportunities to advance your career.
Responsibilities include delivering safe patient care, educating patients and families, and communicating changes to physicians; must hold current RN license, BLS/ACLS, and ventilator management experience. BSN preferred.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience required.
- Ventilator Management experience required.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
- Delivers safe patient care using the nursing process.
- Provides direct patient care within scope of practice.
- Educates patients and families; directs nursing support staff.
- Maintains standards of care on the Medical/Surgical Unit.
- Accountable for care of assigned patients.
- Communicates clinical changes to physicians and responds promptly to condition changes.
