Job summary

WSi Healthcare Personnel seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. The RN will work primarily in Med Surg and may float to the Emergency Department as needed.

The role requires independent practice, adaptability, and care for a diverse patient population in a rural critical access hospital setting. CPSI EMR is used for documentation, with on-call coverage as required.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• 1+ year in Med Surg or ER.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Medical-Surgical Unit and Emergency Department.
• Float from Med Surg to ER as needed.
• Assess, monitor and treat patients with varied illnesses and injuries.
• Respond to emergencies and trauma cases.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team.
• Maintain patient documentation using CPSI EMR.
• Participate in on-call coverage.
