Job summary

WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract at a rural critical access hospital in Cheyenne Wells, Colorado. The RN will work primarily in the Medical-Surgical Unit and may float to the Emergency Department as needed.

The ideal candidate will provide compassionate patient care, adapt quickly to a small-town setting, and collaborate with physicians and the care team. CPSI EMR experience is a plus, and on-call coverage is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Med Surg and ER experience.
• Comfortable working night shifts and in a rural hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Med Surg and Emergency Department
• Float from Med Surg to ER as needed
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with diverse illnesses and injuries
• Respond to emergencies and traumas
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and care team
• Maintain patient documentation using CPSI EMR
• Participate in on-call coverage
