Job summary

WSi Healthcare Personnel seeks a Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract in Cheyenne Wells, CO. The RN will cover Med Surg with occasional ER float, delivering care to a diverse patient population in a rural Critical Access Hospital.

Ideal candidates are independent, adaptable, and capable of caring for patients across medical-surgical and emergency settings, with CPSI EMR documentation and on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Experience as an RN in Med Surg and ER settings.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt quickly.
• Comfort float between Med Surg and ER as needed.
• Strong patient-care and critical thinking skills.
• Capable of independent practice within a hospital team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in Med Surg and Emergency Department.
• Float from Med Surg to ER as needed.
• Assess, monitor, and treat diverse patient caseloads.
• Respond to emergencies and trauma cases.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team.
• Document patient information using CPSI EMR.
• Participate in on-call coverage as required.
