Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Medical Surgical unit in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This full-time night shift position offers a sign-on bonus up to $3,750!

You will provide nursing care, supervise staff, coordinate multidisciplinary care, educate patients and families, and advocate for patients across medical and surgical conditions. Eligible candidates hold an ASN, with BSN preferred, and current RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Nursing required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required (American Heart Association).
• Licensed Registered Nurse required.

Responsibilities

• Provide for patient needs using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Organize and supervise care provided by supportive personnel.
• Coordinate care with ancillary services and involve patients and families in care planning.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Advocate for patients needing medical or surgical care, including minor injuries or illnesses.
