Job summary

Ascension Health in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford. You will lead patient-centered care journeys, coordinate across disciplines, and partner with physicians to execute treatments and ensure safe, effective transitions after discharge.

Minimum requirements include a TN RN license or multi-state Compact State license and BLS certification within 30 days. Diploma in Nursing or licensure is required.

• TN RN license or multi-state Compact State license before hire date.

Responsibilities

• Patient-Centered Care Leadership: design and monitor care plans prioritizing clinical excellence and patient dignity.
• Interdisciplinary Coordination & Advocacy: act as central hub across disciplines ensuring safety and accurate documentation.
• Clinical Execution & Physician Partnership: execute complex treatments and support physicians in daily care.
• Discharge Planning & Empowerment: lead transition planning for patient and family readiness after discharge.
