Job summary

UnityPoint Health-Meriter is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surgical unit in Madison, WI. This 0.6 FTE night-shift role involves 24 hours per week on a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

Compensation starts at $43.89+ per hour with a comprehensive benefits package. The RN will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care for complex surgical and medical patients.

Qualifications

• BSN required; other nursing degrees may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Previous patient care experience (including clinical rotations)
• Current Wisconsin RN license required; CPR certification or eligibility within 3 months of hire
• Must be available for orientation during the first two weeks (day shift)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and nursing assessments.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care per hospital policies and care standards.
• Supervise delegated nursing acts and collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team.
