Job summary

University Health Truman Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Med Surg 5 North unit in Kansas City, MO. The role requires a Missouri RN license and BCLS, with a 36-hour work week on a night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM).

You will assess and plan care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, mentor students, and participate in committees and research to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients based on their diagnosis and care needs.
• Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using your expert skills.
• Work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best patient outcomes.
• Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education.
• Supervise and mentor students.
