Qualifications

• Graduate of an NLN accredited School of Nursing.
• ADN holders must enroll in BSN within 6–9 months and complete within 30 months; ADN nurses receive 100% tuition reimbursement toward BSN.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes appropriate assessment skills to determine patient needs.
• Develops a plan of care for patients not requiring Case Manager; collaborates as needed.
• Assumes charge nurse responsibilities as assigned.
• Provides support to peers; works as a team member.
• Attends continuing education programs and participates in program evaluation.
