Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Iowa for full-time night shifts (6pm–6am) across our skilled nursing communities. Expect competitive wages with shift differentials and a supportive team dedicated to high-quality resident care.

You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, and providers while ensuring documentation and infection control standards are met.

Qualifications

• RN license in good standing (Iowa) and CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations helpful.
• Strong empathy, respect, patience and discretion in care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit for quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider and other team members to promote teamwork.
• Communicate care needs with residents and families.
• Document care to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control, safety and compliance protocols.
