Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care in our skilled nursing communities. You will deliver direct nursing services, administer medications, and support the clinical team across shifts, ensuring resident safety and quality care.

Qualifications

Valid RN license in good standing. Licensure must be active in Iowa or eligible for activation.
Current CPR certification.
Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
Strong commitment to empathy, respect, patience and discretion in care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting.
Support daily clinical operations on the unit to ensure quality care and resident safety.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
Communicate care needs effectively with residents and families.
Document care accurately to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
