Job summary

SnapCare is seeking an RN for a night-shift assignment in a rehabilitation and critical care setting in Memphis, TN. The 13-week role requires active TN RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS (CIRH). Two years of bedside experience and recent ICU exposure are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of bedside clinical experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care utilizing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, providing direction, training, and delegation as appropriate.
• Provide patient information and status updates for Initial Team Conferences and weekly Re-evaluation Team Conferences.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and provide patient and family teaching.
• Communicate pertinent information regarding changes in patient status to attending physicians and Charge Nurses.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program on an assigned unit.
• Assume charge nurse responsibility following orientation period as requested.
• Adhere to hospital guidelines outlining standards of personal appearance, attendance, and punctuality
