Solomons Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated nurse for the night shift (11pm-7am) to provide direct care to residents under the supervision of physicians and the Director of Nursing. Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN or LPN.
• A physical examination confirming freedom from communicable disease is required upon employment.
• Must be in good physical and mental health.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Effective communication with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents under medical direction and supervision.
• Monitor performance of non-licensed personnel.
• Assist in modifying treatment regimens to meet residents' needs in accordance with standards.
• Works throughout the nursing service area and communicates with medical staff, nursing personnel, and other departments.
• Be prepared for extended hours or different positions when necessary.
• Attend continuing education programs.
