Job summary

Sanford Health in Canby, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care settings. Under supervision, you will administer medications, perform assessments, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality of care.

This part-time evening shift offers 24 hours per week with varied benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k). An unencumbered LPN license and CEU requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience or 400 hours as LPN at another facility.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• Completes required annual CEU and competency training requirements of the department and facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long term care.
• Perform tasks under supervision of RN, APRN, or physician.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and effective communication with residents and staff.
• Contribute to assessments and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.
