Sanford Health in Canby, MN, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for part-time shifts at the Canby Care Center. The LPN will provide professional nursing care to residents in long-term care, under supervision, and support the health needs of diverse patient populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, ND: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program or IV Therapy course.
• Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for residents in long-term care under supervision.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and apply age/population-specific standards.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and document outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in interdisciplinary care planning.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program

Associate degree in practical nursing (preferred)

IV therapy/management skills (ND requirement)
