Heinzerling Community is seeking a compassionate Nurse Supervisor for the night shift. This part-time role involves supervising nursing staff, coordinating shifts, and ensuring high-quality, person-centered care for residents with developmental disabilities.

You will work with the DON/ADON to maintain standards, deliver in-services, and support an interdisciplinary team. The position requires RN or LPN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and a commitment to a substance-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be a RN or LPN who has graduated from an accredited nursing program.
• Must maintain current licensure by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Must maintain current CPR and BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the assigned shift.
• Assign and manage nursing staff, including agency scheduling and coverage.
• Address problems and complaints in collaboration with DON/ADON.
• Lead meetings with unit nurses to share information and address concerns.
• Assist in planning and delivering in-services for licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Collaborate with supervisory staff to resolve facility-wide issues.
• Monitor attendance at team and annual reviews; ensure follow-through on decisions.
• Review nursing documentation and plans of care; communicate concerns to DON/ADON.
• Monitor nursing supply needs and ensure availability.
• Step in as unit nurse when needed and be on-call as required.
