Qualifications

• Must be a RN or LPN licensed in Ohio.
• Current CPR and BLS certification.
• Graduated from an accredited nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the assigned shift.
• Assign and manage nursing staff for each shift, including agency staff scheduling and coverage.
• Investigate and address problems in collaboration with DON/ADON.
• Schedule and conduct unit nurse meetings to share information and address concerns.
• Assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering in-services for licensed and unlicensed staff.
• Coordinate with supervisory staff in other departments to resolve facility-wide issues.
• Support unit nurses in data collection for team meetings and quarterly reviews.
• Review nursing documentation and plans of care; inform DON/ADON of concerns.
• Monitor nursing supply needs and communicate with DON/ADON or records secretary.
• Step in as unit nurse when needed and handle on-call responsibilities.
