Job summary

Lakeview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time LPN/RN licensed nurse to work night shifts. The role includes medication administration, supervision of Nursing Assistants, and coordination with physicians to ensure quality resident care.

The RN/ LPN will lead rounds, assess residents’ needs, and communicate with incoming and outgoing staff to maintain continuity of care, while adhering to facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse in the state of Louisiana.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed to practice.
• Ability to supervise Nursing Assistants and coordinate care across shifts.
• Commitment to geriatric patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive report from the outgoing shift and communicate key changes.
• Supervise Nursing Assistants and assign tasks for residents’ care.
• Administer medications and document treatment as ordered.
• Conduct rounds to assess physical, emotional, and social needs.
• Coordinate with physicians and other staff for care plans.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes and incident reports.
• Ensure adequate staffing and prepare a safe, clean unit.
• Attend in-services and participate in ongoing staff education.
