Job summary

MARIONVALLEY in is seeking an LPN for the night shift to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local standards applicable to our long-term care facility.

The role involves coordinating care activities, maintaining essential documentation, and contributing to ongoing quality assurance within the nursing team. Night shift coverage and a sign-on bonus are offered as part of this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants.
• Ensure that all nursing personnel comply with facility policies and procedures.
• Plan shifts' services, programs, and activities.
• Maintain the Nursing Service Procedures Manual to reflect daily nursing procedures.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program for the nursing service department.
• Assist in planning the nursing services portion of residents' discharge plans.
• Complete accident/incident reports as necessary.
• Maintain the Daily Census Report and submit to the Business Office as required.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required.
