MaineGeneral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Long Term Care position in Augusta, Maine. This ongoing staff role features a night shift (8 hours) and a 24-hour per week schedule, offering meaningful patient care in a team-oriented environment.

You’ll deliver compassionate care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and develop care plans tailored to residents’ needs, with opportunities for professional growth and supportive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active State of Maine RN license (or ability to obtain promptly).
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate patient care, ensuring every interaction makes a difference in residents' lives.
• Provide education, emotional support, and guidance to patients, their families and caregivers.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on comprehensive assessment, optimizing outcomes while efficiently utilizing resources.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referrals, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial support.
• Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel and may perform assigned supervisory responsibilities.
