Job summary

AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking an experienced RN leader to oversee venous access and infusion therapy on the night shift. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and educate patients while guiding the unit team to deliver safe, effective care.

The role requires RN licensure with strong clinical practice and leadership capabilities, supporting a 7p–7a schedule and a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1+ year charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patients to determine venous access methods and manage complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Educate patients on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding.
