Qualifications

RN license required
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
AA or AS in Nursing is required; BSN preferred

Responsibilities

Perform venous access procedures within RN scope
Administer and monitor infusion therapy
Assess patients and determine venous access methods
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy
Mentor and precept new staff
Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Ensure regulatory, accrediting and hospital policy compliance
