Job summary

Santa Rosa Medical Center is seeking a House Supervisor RN for PRN night shifts. The role provides leadership during non-business hours, oversees staffing, patient flow, and hospital operations to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The supervisor coordinates rounds, handles emergencies, and serves as a resource for clinical and non-clinical staff while upholding hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• RN license current in Florida or eligible
• 1–2 years of related nursing leadership experience
• Ability to supervise and coordinate staff across shifts

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital operations during assigned night shifts and ensure adequate staffing across departments.
• Monitor census, admissions, discharges, and bed utilization; coordinate patient flow.
• Serve as administrative point of contact during nights, weekends, and holidays; handle inquiries and resolve issues.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate resources to ensure safety and quality care.
• Act as incident commander during disasters until relieved by a senior leader.
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to nursing staff and ensure proper delegation.
