Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Baldwin Park is seeking multiple Registered Nurses to provide professional nursing care using the nursing process. You will lead a health care team, delegate tasks, and uphold standards of practice while ensuring patient safety and effective discharge planning.

The temporary, full-time, non-benefited position supports the Transitional Care Unit with shifts including nights, and a 36-hour work week in Baldwin Park, CA.

Qualifications

• 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a Critical Care, DOU or SDU setting.
• Completion of RN Program.
• Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
• Lead and mentor care team; delegate tasks appropriately and ensure accountability.
• Ensure patient safety, medication administration accuracy, and effective discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and mult-disciplinary team to achieve patient outcomes.
