Job summary

Qualifications

• California RN license is required.
• 1 year of recent (within last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in ED, Critical Care, PACU, or similar procedural area.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; Basic Arrhythmia course completed.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
• Lead health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans as necessary.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
• Document nursing processes and interventions accurately.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to workplace safety principles.
• Practice customer service standards and ensure patient confidentiality.
