Job summary

Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation Sanders in Gloucester, VA is hiring a part-time, night shift Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team. The role focuses on assessing, planning, and delivering resident care under the direction of nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• RN license required by Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need.
• Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed to assure quality resident care is delivered.
• Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care.
• Communicates plan of care to providers, residents, families and staff.
• Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation following the Interact process.
• Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
• Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.
• Demonstrates the ability to manage a typical nursing unit.
