Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Cottage on Vine in Murray, UT is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead nursing services and supervise licensed practical/vocational nurses and CNAs. You will ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations while delivering high-quality resident care.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will oversee care plans, medication administration, and interdisciplinary collaboration to meet residents' needs and promote dignity and safety in a dynamic skilled-nursing

Qualifications

• Prior experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Current unrestricted RN license in practicing state.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Directs the daily activities of nursing staff in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
• Promotes holistic resident care following the nursing model.
• Assesses changes in residents’ status and notifies physicians and families as needed.
• Administers medications per physician orders and monitors for adverse effects.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to meet residents’ needs.
