Job summary

SSM Health St. Clare Hospital – Baraboo is hiring a Registered Nurse for Women’s Services on a part-time basis (0.75 FTE, 30 hours per week) with a night shift from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., every 3rd weekend and two holidays per year.

The role involves managing women’s services activities, workflow, and nursing resources to ensure high-quality, family-centered care. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program and licensure; no prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.

Responsibilities

• Collects and analyzes health data to develop an individualized care plan for women and newborns.
• Coordinates care to promote woman, newborn, and family-centered care within practice scope.
• Evaluates progress toward expected outcomes in care.
• Communicates with women, families, and other health care professionals to ensure safe, holistic care.
• Maintains knowledge reflecting current evidence-based nursing practice for women and newborns.
• Practices with cultural diversity and inclusion in mind.
• Applies evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in women's services nursing.

Education
