Job summary

Cayuga Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. You will deliver direct patient care, collaborate with leadership, and ensure high-quality services in a fast-paced maternal child health unit.

The role requires an active NY RN license, an associates degree in nursing, and BLS; ACLS must be completed by orientation end. Nights, full-time, 3x12s with weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license.
• BLS to be obtained during introductory period.
• ACLS to be completed by end of Orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to designated maternal child health patients.
• Collaborate with unit leadership following governing body scopes of practice.
• Observe, collect data, plan, implement and evaluate care needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to policies and standards.
• Act as a clinical resource and mentor to staff to ensure care excellence.
• Develop knowledge in pediatrics, labor and delivery, or NICU areas.
