Job summary

Cayuga Health System is seeking an Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery Nights at Cayuga Medical Center in Ithaca, NY. The role involves direct patient care in Maternal Child Health, collaboration with unit leadership, and adherence to AWONN/ACOG/NNA/AORN standards. 3x12 shifts, onsite, with a $25,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing and NY RN license; BLS during intro period; ACLS by orientation. Preferred: BSN and prior MCH experience.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing required.
• Active New York State RN license required.
• Will obtain BLS during introductory period; ACLS completed by end of Orientation.
• BSN is preferred; prior Maternal Child Health experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to designated Maternal Child Health patients.
• Perform assessments, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
• Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to policies and standards.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to staff in the unit.
