Job summary

IU Health Paoli is seeking a PRN night shift RN for Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn Nursery to join a high-performing maternity care team. The role emphasizes caring for antepartum, labor, postpartum, and newborn patients with strong teamwork and adherence to IU Health values.

The position requires an active RN license in Indiana, at least 1 year of RN experience, and a nationally accredited nursing program.

Qualifications

• Requires 1 year RN experience.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification by AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor & delivery, postpartum and newborn care per unit standards.
• Monitor fetal status and perform routine newborn assessments.
• Support breastfeeding and family education.
• Stabilize emergencies and participate in team drills.
• Crosstrain to medical-surgical unit as needed.
