Job summary

Grant Medical Center in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Staff RN for the Labor & Delivery Unit on the night shift. This part-time role offers 24 scheduled hours per week, with responsibilities across the continuum of care in a 24/7/365 environment.

The RN is licensed in Ohio (or a multi-state compact) with BLS and a BSN preferred after five years. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, delegating to LPNs and UAPs while contributing to safety, quality, and performance goals.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing with state (Ohio preferred or multi-state compact).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Delegate tasks to LPNs and UAPs per established criteria and policies.
• Actively participate in process improvement to improve clinical quality and safety.
• Operate within a 24/7/365 environment as part of a High Reliability Organization.
